Two-Year Warranty

  1. Coverage: Our two-year warranty applies to products purchased directly from Shengmilo channels, safeguarding against manufacturing defects. This warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original owner and the original product. Please note that complimentary accessories are not covered.

  2. Registration: The warranty is automatically registered when the original purchaser orders and receives the product from our online store. It is exclusively for the original owner and product.

  3. Duration and Limitations: The warranty begins from the purchase date and does not cover electric bicycles acquired from unauthorized sellers. To make a warranty claim, you must present your receipt as proof of purchase, along with your name, address, and any other relevant details provided during the purchase.

Important Notes:

  • Electric bicycles cannot be sold to individuals under 18 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while riding.
  • Stolen bicycles are not covered under this warranty. We recommend investing in high-quality locks to secure your bike when not in use.

 

Covered Products

  1. Defective Parts: Original equipment and non-consumable parts deemed defective at Shengmilo’s discretion will be repaired or replaced within two (2) years from the date of purchase.

1.1 Battery Warranty: Shengmilo batteries come with a one-year warranty. Defective batteries will be repaired using spare parts at no cost within the first year. Battery repairs are guaranteed from the original purchase date, and only Shengmilo can assess batteries for defects.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Wear and Tear: Consumable parts that require regular maintenance (including but not limited to tires, inner tubes, brake pads, cables, housings, grips, chains, spokes, kickstands, lights, LCD displays, pedals, cranks, motors, saddles, and shifters) are subject to normal wear associated with regular use and are not covered under this warranty. Replacement parts can be purchased at shengmilo.bike.

  2. Accidents and Misuse: Defects or damages resulting from accidents, misuse, improper use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or activities not intended for the product), improper storage, exposure to liquids, contact with chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, dirt, negligence, or excessive physical, electrical, or mechanical stress.

  3. Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, and other cosmetic damage, unless caused directly by Shengmilo.

  4. Altered Identification: Products with removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or unidentifiable serial numbers or barcodes.

  5. Non-Approved Accessories: Product defects or damages resulting from the use of accessories, products, or devices not provided or approved by Shengmilo.

  6. Improper Handling: Defects or damages caused by assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment that do not follow assembly instructions and user manuals.

  7. External Factors: Defects or damages caused by external factors such as collisions, fires, floods, storms, lightning, earthquakes, theft, blown fuses, or improper power usage.

Battery Exclusions

For batteries, this limited warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by:

  1. Using a charger that is unsuitable or not intended for the battery.

  2. Improper use of the battery charger.

  3. Any signs of tampering or damage to the battery.

  4. Using the battery in devices other than the designated bicycles.

Frame Warranty

  1. Replacement Warranty: Shengmilo electric bicycle frames come with a two-year replacement warranty.

  2. This warranty covers only frame replacement and does not include labour costs associated with transferring components to the new frame. Authorized Shengmilo service representatives will determine if the frame meets replacement standards.

  3. Shengmilo reserves the right to use frames with minor scratches or dents during replacement. We may substitute out-of-stock frame styles and colours with compatible alternatives.

Exclusions for Frame Issues include, but are not limited to:

  1. Corrosion.
  2. Fading, scratches, and impact marks on paint.
  3. Damage caused by impacts.
  4. Irreversible modifications (such as drilling or welding).

Component Warranty

Components (including Motor, Controller, Battery, Charger, Throttle, Pedal Assist Sensor, Display Panel) are covered for one year.

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Defects or damages caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding or racing), improper storage, exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, or dirt, negligence, or excessive stress.

  2. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Shengmilo.

  3. Products with removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or unidentifiable serial numbers or barcodes.

  4. Defects or damages caused by non-approved accessories or devices.

  5. Defects or damages caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment that do not follow assembly instructions and user manuals.

  6. Defects or damages caused by external factors such as collisions, fires, floods, storms, lightning, earthquakes, theft, blown fuses, or improper power usage.

  7. Normal wear and tear of non-manufacturing or material defects, such as tires, brakes, and other components subject to wear. Shengmilo reserves the right to assess the extent of wear.

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims must be submitted to Shengmilo at support@shengmilo.com.au. To process your claim, please include proof of purchase along with photos or videos of the damaged product. Before submitting a claim, we encourage you to reach out to our customer service team at support@shengmilo.com.au, as your issue may be easily resolved without needing to file a claim. Valid warranty claims made within two years of the original purchase will be handled by Shengmilo.

Defective displays, batteries, motors, and controllers are eligible for replacement during the warranty period. Please note that customers are responsible for any shipping fees associated with these claims.

Shengmilo will not replace any parts without first receiving photos or videos of the damaged product. Customers must provide this evidence via email to support@shengmilo.com.au.

Important Note: Shengmilo will provide free replacement components and parts within the scope of warranty coverage (excluding shipping costs). Any installation costs not authorised by our after-sales team will not be covered.

Shipping Damage

If accessories are scratched or lost during transit, no replacement or compensation will be offered. While rare, items may occasionally arrive damaged. In such cases, please contact support@shengmilo.com.au and provide photos or videos as proof of the damage.

Please Note: The following conditions are considered normal and are not covered under our free replacement or refund policy:

  1. Minor damage to the outer packaging.
  2. Slight scratches or paint chips on the product.
  3. Parts that have become bent due to transportation.
  4. Damage to parts or wear-prone components after a period of use.

We will not accept claims for shipping damage submitted more than seven days after receiving any product.

Warranty claims require proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product, enabling our technical team to identify the issue and provide support. Alternatively, you can contact our official customer service directly at support@shengmilo.com.au. If a replacement is needed, we will send the required components and provide you with detailed instructions.
